Overview
CarLog is designed with privacy at its core. The app works entirely offline and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your information stays on your device.
CarLog does not collect any personal data. Your vehicle, fuel, and maintenance data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Data Collection
CarLog does not collect any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Device identifiers
- Cookies or similar technologies
Data Storage
All data you enter into CarLog — including vehicle profiles, fuel entries, maintenance events, and settings — is stored locally on your device using high-performance local storage.
No Cloud Sync
CarLog does not use cloud services to store or synchronize data. No account creation is required to use the app.
Data Deletion
You can delete any individual record (vehicle, fuel entry, or event) at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all associated data from your device.
Third-Party Services
CarLog does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain ads and does not share data with any third parties.
Photos & Attachments
CarLog allows you to attach photos (such as receipts or invoices) to maintenance events. These photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any external server. Camera and photo library access is only used when you explicitly choose to attach a photo.
Notifications
CarLog may send local notifications to remind you of upcoming maintenance events. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
Children's Privacy
CarLog does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since the app does not collect any personal data from any user, it is inherently compliant with children's privacy regulations.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
