By using Insectum ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Use of the App

• Insectum provides AI-powered creature identification for informational purposes only.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app, or have parental consent.
• You agree not to misuse the app or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Important Disclaimer

Insectum is not a substitute for professional medical or pest control advice. AI identification may not always be accurate. If you are bitten or stung by an unknown creature, seek medical attention immediately regardless of what the app says.

Free and Paid Tiers

• Free: 3 scans per day with basic identification and danger level.
• Pro: Unlimited scans, detailed danger info, pest control guides, fun facts, and scan history.
• Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and features of Insectum are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app.

Limitation of Liability

Insectum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to inaccurate identifications or reliance on danger assessments.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app if these terms are violated.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
